At Julian Nava Learning Academy, a middle school in inner-city L.A., I'm a 6th grade teacher who teaches math and science. Previously, I taught at the elementary level, where I taught 2nd-5th grade.

What do you treasure?

I treasure my family, imediate and extended, friendships, my well-being, my spirituality, and things I've learned through relationships I've built with people.I enjoy hiking in the mountains, walks and jogs on the beach. I treasure the beautiful landscapes the world has to offer.
